Post a sentence, that for whatever reason just came to you. It is something that you considered "profound" at the time, and maybe you have no idea where it came from or why you thought it. It can be silly, funny, interesting or perhaps enlightening. Who cares if it is original, came from your subconscious or you might have read it somewhere. Don't look it up, just post something.
I have a theory that maybe those thoughts that just come to us, are meant for someone else, or have a purpose that our thinking minds don't understand. There are plenty of stories of people just getting "it" or enlightened by one single thought or sentence. Maybe your sentence is for someone else?
You can't control what happens, only how you react to it.
he suspected the incurable wretchedness of a heart which is no longer hard enough for good or for evil, of a broken will which no longer commands, can no longer command. -NIETZSCHE
The greatest adventure is what lies ahead. Today and tomorrow are yet to be said. The chances, the changes are all yours to make. The mold of your life is in your hands to break.
The greatest adventure is there if you're bold. Let go of the moment that life makes you hold. To measure the meaning can make you delay; It's time you stop thinkin' and wasting the day.
Never settle upon a decision. Always improve upon a decision or change it if its not working out.
"We might be overlooking one of the biggest tools we've ever had for evolving and developing our mind...we might have a symbiotic relationship on this Earth with certain plants that we've made illegal. We might need them." -Rogan Never Stop Learning.
I don't have a sentence that would enlighten someone but I came up with this once
"It's not that there is no answer, it's that there is no question."
I was really stoned and made fun of myself immediately after patting myself on the back thinking I had some super profound thought. But the thought itself was genuine and I think there's something in it.
I decided to get an account after reading everything people are saying about Enlightenment and i had to say something. Enlightenment, as i was told, is something that is never acheived. It is simply something that people work towards for self improvement. Budda never actually said himself that he was enlightened but that he was awake; as he said on his last podcast, it is a path to follow and the person with one eye on the finish doesn't understand the idea.
``All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.''
``All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.''
This is my favorite, for good or for bad times. I usually just say, "It's almost over". The bad times are almost over, the good times are almost over, the pointless times are almost over, and life itself is almost over so get the fuck up and so something that you wanna do.
