This is the Duncan Trussell Family Hour's bonus episode section! From here you can buy special, additional bonus episodes of the podcast. Pricing on episodes is generally $1 USD, but you can pay more if you like.
How do I buy these episodes?
There are now four ways to buy our bonus episodes! They are as follows (all prices in USD):
- Buy directly from us for $1 (best for North American listeners)
- Buy directly from us for $2-$20 dollars (select your own price!)
- Buy via iTunes for $1.99 (recommended for international listeners)
- Buy via Amazon MP3 for $.99
Just click on your preferred Buy button and you'll be walked through the checkout process. If buying direct you will need a valid credit card or a valid paypal account! All direct-purchase transactions are completely secure and handled through Paypal.com.
When buying directly from us please make sure to provide a working e-mail address at checkout. Your episode will be delivered to this e-mail address, so it's VERY important!
While we appreciate all orders, we'd love for you to buy from us directly. When you buy direct more money goes to the DT Family Hour, but when you buy through iTunes or Amazon only about 60% of your purchase price finds its way to us.

We use Paypal to process our payments and protect our customers from fraud. It's not a perfect system, but we've set it up so you absolutely DO NOT need a Paypal account to buy from us.
Why are your episodes delivered by e-mail? Can't I just download straight from the site?
We wish we could do this! Unfortunately it's a logisitical nightmare to set up, so for our sanity and yours we use a third-party service to deliver episodes.
Why do iTunes episodes cost $1 more than the others?
Unfortunately iTunes has a lot of silly rules governing prices, one of them being that a single track longer than 10 minutes cannot be sold for $.99. Because each bonus episode is at least an hour long we have to sell it for the next-lowest price: $1.99.
Why should international listeners buy through iTunes?
This is because we use Paypal to process our direct sales.
A lot of international listeners have reported problems buying through Paypal, most of the time having to do with Paypal taking days (or even weeks) to verify their payment info.
iTunes, on the other hand, has numerous international stores that make buying in nearly any country relatively easy. That's why we recommend it if you're buying from outisde the USA.
All that said, you're free to buy bonus episodes however you like! If you live outside the US and you've never had a problem buying stuff with Paypal then go for it!

Sorry! We do not offer subscriptions at this time. Duncan isn't always able to do a bonus episode every week, and we worry that if we started selling subscriptions the subscribers might feel ripped-off. By selling each episode individually you only pay for what you get.
Can I buy old Lavender Hour bonus episodes here?
Yes you can! Since we're no longer updating the Lavender Hour, and a bunch of new people recently subscribed to the show, we've made the 7 Lavender Hour bonus episodes available on this site! They're all on this page, numbered -6 through 0, so they don't screw up our normal bonus episode count.
